Royal Coster Diamonds is the oldest diamond polishing factory in the world. Since our establishment in 1840, Royals from all over the world came to Amsterdam to see our Amsterdam craftsmanship. We’ve welcomed visitors like Empress Sisi, the Viceroy of China, King Rama V, Prince Napoleon and many, many more.

Today this Royal experience is within your reach. Visit our four monumental 19th century villa's and see how we create beauty that lasts for centuries. We give private guided tours during which your guide vividly tells you about the history of these precious stones and how Amsterdam became the City of Diamonds. You dive into our rich legacy that is filled with Royal Stories. Your guide explains how diamonds are formed and polished, while you see our polishers and goldsmiths up close. You can take a picture of yourself behind a real diamond polishing table and you learn how to analyze a diamond and why some diamonds sparkle more than others. At the end of the tour, you receive a nice goody bag you can use to value your or your family’s diamonds and diamond jewelry.

Our engagement workshop is for couples who are preparing for an engagement or anniversary and want to learn more about diamonds before they purchase. Buying an engagement ring is special on itself but when combined with learning how to truly appreciate diamonds, makes it an unforgettable experience.

This tour offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam; a luxurious and comforable car / minibus (Mercedes brand) will wait for you at your hotel front door; A free bottle of water is offered for each traveler.
Instruction of Booking This Tour
- Please write down your Travel Date.
- Please write down your hotel name and address under 'Hotel Name + Address'.
- Please write down your correct contact number and email address at the order page. The address is used for your invoice only.
- After your payment, we will send to you a confirmation by email within few minutes (sometimes it might take longer).
- If your chosen date is not available (full), we will contact you by phone or email for an alternative date. Or we will cancel your order and refund your payment.
Instruction Before The Tour
- Our tour guide will contact you by SMS or Whatspp one day before the tour, to confirm your hotel pick up time.
- Please wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes before our arrival time.
- If your hotel is not in the Ring A10, or at the north part of Het IJ River in Amsterdam, please go to our meeting point at Amsterdam Central Station. You can take free ferry from north to central station. We can also pick you up from your hotel with additional price.
